We’re seeking an engaged and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of our software products at customer sites. Lead high-impact software implementations
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and successful implementation process, where our software solutions meet customer needs and expectations in their mission to make a difference in combating crime and terrorism.
Working closely with our experienced team of system consultants, you will lead the implementation of our solutions in collaboration with customers and other key stakeholders. You will act as the central point of coordination ensuring alignment between Sales, Development, Delivery, and customers.
Areas of responsibility
Plan and manage complex international IT implementation projects from start to finish.
Coordinate internally across XCI (Sales, Development, and Delivery) and externally with customers.
Identify agreed requirements and adapt implementation plans accordingly.
Monitor project progress and proactively manage challenges, risks, or delays.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through proper allocation of XCI resources to agreed tasks.
Facilitate clear and structured communication between customers and internal teams.
Participate in internal steering committee meetings to ensure progress and minimize risks.
Contribute to strong governance and structured project execution.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure the highest level of customer support.
About you
You have a solid background as a Project Manager in a significant software company and possess strong technical insight into software development. You have experience delivering and managing complex solutions in both Linux and Windows environments.
Your drive comes from satisfied customers, and you thrive on bringing structure and clarity to complex projects. You enjoy direct customer interaction and take pride in delivering high-quality software solutions by collaborating closely with XCI’s development teams and system consultants strengthening our customers’ capabilities in national security.
You also have a commercial mindset and understand that the customer is always at the center of our efforts.
You have experience with:
Solid experience in project management within software implementation projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Strong technical insight and the ability to quickly understand new software solutions and technologies.
Prince2 Foundation/Practitioner certification or similar.
Experience with basic contract management.
Comfort working within a flat and informal organizational structure.
You are dependable, service-oriented, and structured in the way you work. You take full responsibility for ensuring that customer commitments are met, even in high-pressure situations.
As direct customer interaction is a central part of the role, you must possess strong written and verbal communication skills at a negotiation level and be fluent in both Danish and English, spoken and written, to effectively serve our global customer base.
You should also be prepared to travel approximately 40–50 days per year.
