Incident Manager
The vital link between our Delivery and Development teams, ensuring every incident is systematically tracked, clearly communicated, and efficiently resolved with professionalism.
Join a fast-growing technology company with a meaningful mission - developing advanced software products that help prevent and fight crime.
At XCI, we ensure that police and intelligence services always have the best technology to protect citizens – in the city, on the street, and in our homes.
We’re now looking for an experienced Incident Manager to strengthen our Development Department and ensure smooth coordination, communication, and resolution of customer-reported issues while staying up to date with content of coming releases.
Take ownership of incidents and make a real impact
As an Incident Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that incidents and issues reported by customers are handled efficiently, transparently, and with the highest level of quality. As part of this, you are involved in planning of coming product releases.
As Incident Manager, you’ll act as the bridge between our Delivery and Development organizations, ensuring that every incident is tracked, communicated, and resolved in a structured and professional manner.
You’ll join a dedicated, skilled, and informal team where professionalism runs deep, and colleagues support and challenge each other. You’ll have the freedom to shape your own ways of working, contribute ideas, and grow both personally and professionally.
Key responsibilities
• Take full ownership of customer-reported incidents and issues, ensuring they are tracked from start to final resolution
• Coordinate internally within Development to identify the right owners, set priorities, and communicate urgency clearly
• Ensure clear and timely communication of issue status to both internal stakeholders and the Delivery organization
• Assess whether other customer systems may be affected and coordinate actions accordingly
• Conduct and follow up on Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence
• Proactively monitor and manage tickets raised from our customers from a Development perspective, ensuring deadlines are met
• Coordinate daily with your Delivery counterpart to align efforts and share updates
• Occasionally engage directly with customers, including onsite visits for major incidents requiring coordination
