To join our QA Community, we are looking for a skilled Software Test Manager, who wants to be working with a purpose to make a difference in the world, and who wants to play a key role in ensuring and extending the quality of our software products.

Software Test Manager

As a Software Test Manager your primary role will be to set the test strategy, lead and plan the test execution of our product releases to customers, and contribute to improving the quality related procedures and activities in XCI.

You will be part of a dedicated and experienced team with a high level of expertise and an informal work culture, where colleagues support and challenge each other. You will have a significant influence on your tasks, with great opportunities for both professional and personal development.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Plan, lead and document the testing of some of our product releases to customers
• Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to identify testing requirements, testing strategies, and release plans
• Motivating a team of software test engineers executing both automated and manual test cases during test campaigns
• Documenting, analyzing and presenting test results
• Review and classification of defect reports
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and quality related procedures

About you:

You have experience with software test management and the relevant test management methods, and you understand the challenges of working with large complex applications. You are motivated by learning and have natural curiosity for exploring new methods and trends in test management.

You are structured, analytical and detail-oriented, and you understand the importance of documenting test strategies and results. At the same time, you are a great team player, sharing ideas and knowledge with your colleagues.

You communicate well in English, both written and spoken.

It is an advantage if you:

• Are ISTQB certified
• Have experience of cooperating and communicating with stakeholders, e.g. development teams, sales teams, delivery teams and company management
• Have experience with Acceptance Testing
• Has used the following tools: Azure Devops, Jama, Playwright, TypeScript, Python and Grafana K6
• Have experience with testing or development of distributed software products. Experience with Non-functional testing is an extra plus
• Have knowledge about server virtualization and server configuration
