Develop scalable big data software  
Your primary role will be to design and develop scalable and high-quality software systems that support big data flows and analytics used by national security organizations.

In the role as senior UI/Frontend Developer, you will be involved in the entire process —And your focus on the UI design and functionality will mean you are a key player from the initial ideas to handover and customer feedback.

Areas of responsibilities:

• Designing and developing reusable UI components

• Feature mockups and designs
• Implementation of new functionality & refactoring of existing components
• Contribute to architecture and solution designs
• Help drive quality improvement and solution to frontend related problems

About you:

With an eye for visual design and the ability to bring data to life through intuitive and interactive visualizations, you bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, excelling in fast-paced and challenging environments. You communicate well in English, both written and spoken, and take pride in writing structured, high-quality code. You always seek the best solution while keeping simplicity in mind, and your interest in big data and experience with relevant technologies drives your work. You are passionate about learning new technologies and enjoy sharing your insights with colleagues

You have experience with:

• React (or similar frameworks)
• JavaScript (ES6)
• Node.js
• Knowledge of HTML5, SASS, CSS and SCSS

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• React and the JavaScript ecosystem
• Customer demos and workshops
• Elasticsearch
• Browser support and scalability
• Quality assurance
• Usability and user experience
