If you are motivated by working in a high-stakes security environment and have experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, we are looking for a skilled Senior IT/Infrastructure Engineer for our Infrastructure & Operations team who can actively contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our IT environment. You will also drive infrastructure projects and support operational excellence; all while being driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the world.

Your primary role will be to design, implement and maintain our enterprise IT environment across on-premises and cloud, and in collaboration with the rest of the IT operations team handle daily IT operations across XCI.

Areas of responsibility:

• Design, implement and maintain a secure, scalable IT infrastructure
• Lead infrastructure projects, such as office buildouts, migrations, and upgrades
• Manage and monitor Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and network infrastructure
• Support endpoint/device management and user access across the organization
• Collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Security teams on infrastructure automation and compliance

About you:

You have several years of experience working with enterprise IT infrastructure in both on-premises and cloud environments, and you bring a strong background from client-facing roles or IT consulting. You excel at troubleshooting complex issues, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and driving IT initiatives forward from planning to execution.

Motivated by continuous learning, you naturally explore new technologies and enjoy contributing to the improvement of security, resilience, and efficiency within IT systems. You have successfully delivered end-to-end infrastructure projects and are experienced in operating within hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.

Collaboration comes naturally to you—you work effectively with DevOps and development teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment. You are also well-versed in handling security incidents and preparing for audits, ensuring compliance and operational readiness. As a strong team player, you actively share knowledge and insights with colleagues, and you communicate fluently in English, both in writing and speaking.

You have experience with:

• Enterprise Networking: Fortinet firewalls, switches, and VPNs
• Windows and Linux Server Administration: Active Directory, GPOs, file and print services
• Virtualization Technologies: VMware, Hyper-V
• Cloud Infrastructure and SaaS: Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365
• Security Architecture and Operations: MFA, patch management, firewalls, endpoint protection
• Storage and Backup Solutions: SAN/NAS systems, on-prem/cloud backup
• Endpoint and Device Management: Intune, SCCM
• Monitoring & Alerting Tools: Zabbix, centralized logging
• Scripting and Automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible
• ITIL & Change Management: Service desk workflows, incident/change management
