If you are an experienced DevOps Developer with a passion for leadership and hands-on problem-solving, we are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join our IT & Infrastructure team. In this role, you will lead a team of talented DevOps engineers while actively participating in daily operations, driving the integration of DevOps principles, and ensuring smooth collaboration between development and IT operations.
Your Role – Lead by Example
As a DevOps Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to guide and mentor your team while also contributing hands-on in the development, and optimization of our development environment and IT infrastructure. You will play a key role in enhancing software quality, operational efficiency, and scalability, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the DevOps team, fostering professional growth and ensuring a high level of engagement and collaboration.
- Act as a bridge between development and IT operations, ensuring seamless integration of DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- Oversee and optimize build systems for C++ and Java projects, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Manage and improve infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and scripting languages.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance, ensuring reliability and security.
- Develop custom automation tools to streamline deployment, system monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating and integrating new DevOps tools and technologies.
About You:
You are an experienced DevOps professional who thrives in both a leadership role and a technical capacity. You enjoy guiding your team while also being actively involved in development, troubleshooting, and optimization processes. Your ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly makes you a key driver of efficiency and
You have experience with:
- Proven leadership experience in a DevOps environment, with a track record of mentoring and managing technical teams.
- Manage and coordinate execution of the team backlog and own and develop the DevOps roadmap.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Deep understanding of C++/Java build environments and IT infrastructure provisioning.
- Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive initiatives that enhance software and infrastructure reliability.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (both written and spoken).
