If you're passionate about IT and network infrastructure, we're seeking a skilled and experienced architect to join our IT & Infrastructure team. You will play a key role in developing, designing, and planning IT solutions that align with XCI’s growth strategy. You'll collaborate with the broader IT team to successfully grow and mature the XCI IT landscape, all while being driven by a desire to make a meaningful impacting the world.

Reliable and future-proof IT and network infrastructure
Your primary role will involve designing, planning, and implementing IT and infrastructure solutions across the XCI IT environment to ensure business growth and reliability. You will also manage network security and compliance while staying ahead of emerging technologies to drive IT infrastructure innovation. Areas of responsibility:

• Design scalable and robust network and infrastructure solutions to support business growth and efficient IT operations
• Participate and in some cases oversee the planning and implementation of IT and infrastructure projects within XCI. Both on-prem and cloud.
• Implementing robust security protocols and best practices to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities complying with relevant regulations and industry standards
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in network architecture and IT in general to be able to develop and future proof the XCI IT infrastructure
• Manage vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful operation
• Escalation point for complex infrastructure-related issues
• Expert advice to other IT teams and end-users.

About you:
You bring extensive experience in designing, planning, and implementing IT and network infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on security management, performance optimization, and scalability. You thrive on the challenge of continuously developing and improving complex systems. Driven by a passion for learning, you naturally seek out and explore new technologies in the field. A collaborative team player, you actively share insights and knowledge, and you excel in mentoring and supporting your fellow colleagues. You communicate effectively in English, both in writing and speaking.

You have experience with:

• A similar role at a company spanning multiple sites and countries.
• Design and implementation based on Fortinet network infrastructure
• Zero trust architecture and other relevant security designs
• Communicating technical designs both verbally, visually and in writing.
• Proficient in both Linux and Windows environments
• Hands-on deployment of both physical and virtual infrastructure
• IT infrastructure troubleshooting and problem solving
• Vendor and stakeholder management including driving forward infrastructure projects.
• Compliance and industry best practices such as ISO 27001, ITIL, CIS Controls, NIST CSF
